Fantastic Fractions

I have created a way to show what happens with working with fractions with your hands and on a 36 box grid. This is a concrete method for adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions with easy to follow steps shown in many examples.

The book covers the basics of adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and Order of Operations before working with fractions. Other topics include prime numbers, equivalent values of fractions, comparing fractions, and complex fractions.

The book ends with a test and a fun Fraction Activity using a Tangram.

I have included some active study helps to make your learning successful and fun.

I have been teaching these methods at Salt Lake Community College in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. for several years. It has been successful in the Developmental Math Department for my students.
